Selena Gomez in Another Cinderella Story

I love Selena Gomez as Alex Russo on the Wizards of Waverly Place. And I loved Hilary Duff and Chad Michael Murray in A Cinderella Story. When I found out that there was a sequel to A Cinderella Story with Selena Gomez, I raced out to get it.

Another Cinderella Story is a 2008 musical romantic comedy directed by Damon Santostefano and starring Selena Gomez and Drew Seeley. The film aired on The Disney Channel this January and was released direct-to-DVD by Warner Premiere on September 16, 2008.

This movie is a retelling of the Cinderella fairy tale, with Mary Santiago (Selena Gomez), a high school student with ambitions of becoming a dancer. Dominique Blatt (Jane Lynch) is the stepmother and Britt (Emily Perkins) and Bree (Katharine Isabelle) are the two stepsisters.

Joey Parker is the wanna-be Prince Charming and is played by Drew Seeley. Parker is now a famous celebrity that has returned to school for his senior year and to find a girl to love. A school dance substitutes for the ball, with the role of the glass slippers filled by a Zune. The Zune she left behind as she rushed home in order to make her curfew.

Selena Gomez was amazing in Another Cinderella Story and the soundtrack for the movie is absolutely fantastic. Who hasn't heard Selena Gomez's hit song "Tell Me Something I Don't Know" from the Another Cinderella Story soundtrack.
